I'd love to be able to work from home, but when you have a retail store, that isn't a possibility. I'm going to check out your site though!

Those were some great tips...thank you! Another suggestion would be to quit your commute and work from home! Not only does it help with high fuel costs it gives you more time with your family and frees you from the discomfort and expense of work clothes! If you can't arrange with your employer to work from home 5 days a week, perhaps you can make a compromise and work from home once or twice a week, every bit helps. For anyone who is looking for legitimate work from home jobs my website, http://FrugalParentsOnine.com has a very broad list of employers who hire a home based work force. There is everything from entry level to professional employment available!

I have seen the "drive slow" tip in so many blogs and articles recently. It's surprising to me because I always thought the faster you went, the more gas you were saving (because you always hear that you get better mileage for highway driving vs. city driving). I guess it's because of all the starts and stops you have to make when city driving. Either way, I'm very glad I learned this -- I tend to be a bit of a speeder

Although my husband and I both drive, we have managed to resist the temptation to buy a car each. We not only save on fuel but on the tax, insurance and the cost of the car. I definately think not having a car is the best way to save!
