I believe that very few people understand the power of investing in themselves when it comes to their careers. If they would take time in developing their strengths, becoming more knowledgeable through reading books, networking through web 2.0 (twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), and taking massive action in their lives, they would make themselves more valuable to their employers and possibly develop a side business. I know I have personally found this the case in my own life. I really like #2. I believe that very few people understand the power of investing in themselves when it comes to their careers. But, while we are here...we have to make plans ahead. The worlds security is just for this particular time on earth. But, treasures stored in Heaven are for eternity. This is one way we have diversified. Remember, I said "oneway". But, now we have a choice, where we didn't before. Sadly, we have not always given very much, to the work of the Kingdom, but in recent years, God has shown us that there are blessings for us in this area of our own lives. He's the One Who has to show that to each of us. Most of us are too lost in our bits of time on this floating orb, that we do not listen to His leading. In other words...we are to be wise in ALL our dealings. Thank you for this article. You are a very wise man in many ways. God bless you and yours, and God bless America!!! We need it!!!
