You hit some really key points here. It’s like a summary of all the self-help/career growth books I’ve read . During my unemployment time, I’ve done almost exactly what you said here. I’ve enhanced my social media skill set by joining a blog mastermind program. I’ve looked at learning languages, and volunteered at networking events. I’ll definitely refer back to this the day I start my job and probably put it up on my wall as a reminder.

Is spending most of your time blogging and reading other blogs one of the ways you forgot to leave out? Hahaha, I’m just kidding! I do need to remind myself sometimes that I’m at the office for WORK not for the BLOG. Ha!

These are great though and so important in the current economy. We all need to do what we can to be assets at our offices. Thanks for posting these!
