Great point. Most everyone has an inflated view of their personal worth (and the worth of their assets). You are only worth what someone is willing to pay, regardless of what the recruiter says!</description>

But I also want to recommend to people not to get a number in their head as to &quot;what they are worth&quot; and not settle for less. Sometimes the better personal or professional option is the one that pays less. You should always strive to maximize your value, but go with the situation that offers you the best opportunity - personal, professional, or a combination of both. I would much rather be happy in my position and earn a little less, than earn more money and hate my job.</description>
