Getting your finances in order

Teaming up with Jean Chatzky, the great folks at FranklinCovey have created a product that helps you organize your time AND your finances. It’s called the Making Money Make Sense Collection. The weekly planner incorporates Jean’s best thinking into an organized layout to help manage your life and your money with ease and effectiveness. Each week features a spending plan tracker so you can put into practice strategies for managing your money by comparing actual weekly expenditures to planned costs in a variety of categories. It’s a budget that you WILL look at on a daily basis (provided you use the calendar!).

  • One year of two-pages-per-week planner pages with unique weekly quotes from Jean
  • Tabbed section with strategies for reducing debt and saving money
  • Two-page monthly calendar tabs
  • Tabbed dividers for address/phone pages, planning calendars, planner guide, spending plan, receipt holder, financial goals, and key information pages

You might not like budgeting software and prefer the personal touch and feel of paper and pen. So, if you’re looking for a personal calendar that will keep you accountable on a daily basis, the Making Money Make Sense Collection from FranklinCovey may just be what you’re looking for.

I am really looking forward to starting a new year. I’m going to make a new budget and really stick to it. In 2009, we paid off our student loans! YAY!!
