Goodbye Cash For Clunkers?

In a classic case of “unintended consequences,” it appears that the Federal government may suspend it’s Cash For Clunkers program because it’s too successful.

Is anyone surprised that people are lining up for “free” money? Only, it really isn’t “free”, is it?
