Goodbye Cash For Clunkers?

In a classic case of “unintended consequences,” it appears that the Federal government may suspend it’s Cash For Clunkers program ^[2] because it’s too successful.

Is anyone surprised that people are lining up for “free” money? Only, it really isn’t “free”, is it?
