Guess Who’s Identity Was Stolen?

You’d think the Chairman of the Federal Reserve would be the last person to fall victim to identity thieves, but according to Newsweek [2], Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, fell victim to identity theft when his wife’s purse was stolen from the back of a chair in Starbucks.

Chairman Bernanke, you need to get Equifax Credit Watch Gold 3-in-1 [3]! It’s what I use to insure that my identity is protected from additional identity theft. I wish I had this kind of protection before an identity thief decided to turn my world upside down and I bet Mr. Bernanke does too!

Yes, I really do use this service. I know a lot of other bloggers discount identity theft protection, but having had my identity stolen, it’s very cheap peace of mind for me.
