I know I could start ironing, but without travel I don't feel the need, I am not near that $65/month. Around here I can get shirts laundered and starch for 89 cents each. I have had a couple buttons dissapear which is annoying, mostly the small button just above your wrist!

I also cheat and make sure to hand the shirt back up right after work and wear it a second time before taking it back in to be laundered.

I'm definitely guilty of being ignorant when it comes to ironing shirts. A very useful guide. Thanks!

#Jeff@My Super-Charged Life→

Thanks Jeff, I started ironing my own things back in high school. The cleaners is a luxury for me considering how much it costs. Then I usually forget to pick something up or the shirts come back missing a few buttons. I'd rather do it myself.

I have started letting my daughters iron my shirts and I pay them $1 per shirt. Sometimes I get back from a road trip and I have quite a bill to pay!

#Frugal Dad→

I spend so much time on the road, I HAD to develop my own system. Usually every night when I'm in a different hotel, I spend at least a few minutes ironing shirts and pants for the next day. Suitcases are the worst "wrinklers!"
