Thanks for adding it. I agree with you, we need to severely restrict our purchases on credit. Between the drive for HD televisions, paying $5,000 to have your teeth whiter than white, plastic surgery, McMansions, and the "I saw it, I wanted it, I bought it (on credit)" mentality, Americans are digging a hole they may not be able to get out of. Invest in yourself, not in depreciating "stuff." Great point Jeff. Thanks for adding it.

I can't see how families can continue to accrue so much debt at such high interest rates and survive financially. It seems like a house of cards to me. I'm not predicting a doomsday scenario, but I do think this will correct itself and for some it will be painful. I encourage everyone to live debt-free. Use your income to build wealth instead of slaving away to pay for stuff you don't really want or need.
