IberiaBank is excited to announce that one of their cards, the IberiaBank Visa® Classic Card ^[2], was recently named one of the Top Low-Interest / Fees Cards of 2010 by Consumer Reports! After conducting a study in July of this year focusing on credit, Consumer Reports aimed to identify trends in the types of cards consumers were using and carrying … and using a credit card could save the day. ^[3]

• Low Interest Rate Cards: The popularity of this category of card is almost self-explanatory. Low interest credit cards ^[6] are extremely popular among consumers who are likely to carry a balance or to transfer a balance from a higher-rate card to one of these low interest rate cards.

Obviously, the cards with the lowest rates and the fewest hidden fees did the best in this category … and one of the low interest rate cards mentioned by name was the IberiaBank Visa® Classic Card ^[2]!

Low Introductory APR for Balance Transfers

The IberiaBank Visa® Classic Card ^[2] features a low 1.99% APR for 6 months for balance transfers. After that 6 months, the APR rises to the purchase APR, which is still not astronomically high.

Zero Annual Fee
