We live in an equatorial climate country, so we are blessed in not having these ice storms and such. It must be tough to live in freezing weather without the amenities we are so used to. I went through frequent blackouts whilst working in Ghana. Still Ghana's climate is equatorial. The worst we had to go through was not having air conditioning, something that I would any day prefer over not having heat. It's great that you are seeing the positive side of this miserable 10 days.
