Those of us who are paid on the first and the fifteenth have only 5 paydays until Christmas. Are you ready?
Perkstreet Financial certainly is and for new customers, you can soften the effects of Christmas spending simply by using your new Perkstreet debit card. If you’re planning to spend less than $5,000 on Christmas gifts this year (who isn’t?), you could earn as much as $250 in free cash by making non-PIN purchases using your Perkstreet debit card.
Why can PerkStreet afford to give you so much cash back?
Because they don’t waste your money.
Every year, banks spend $80 billion maintaining thousands of branches (nearly $1,000 for every family in the United States). Those branches need power, sewer, water, trash collection, security (loads of security), personnel, janitorial services, computers, Internet services, telephones, cameras, plush sofas for the branch manager, and fancy plants in the lobby. It adds up to a LOT of money.
If you’re like me, you probably only walk into a branch to use the ATM or to talk to someone when you have a question.
PerkStreet believes there are better ways to spend that money — like having even more ATMs and even better service.
Here are the details

You may spend a total of $5,000 that is eligible for the 5% cash back earn rate. Bonus perks earned as part of the 5% holiday purchases program will be awarded on February 15, 2011, which is different than when you earn your standard perks. Why? Everyone has returns sometimes, so they will wait until February to award your holiday bonus perks to ensure that the perks granted are only for the merchandise you keep. All other perks will be awarded in accordance with the PerkStreet Rewards Program Agreement.
