OT – Merry Christmas: Here’s a Ticket

Ran across this from boston.com

“A mother in labor said her contractions were 3 minutes apart when a state trooper made her and her husband wait for a citation.”

The couple had been allowed by two other state troopers to use the breakdown lane while on the way to the hospital to deliver their baby. They were in that legendary Boston rush hour traffic. But trooper Michael Galluccio of the Brighton barracks would have none of it. He made them wait on the side of the road, questioning whether the mom was even pregnant, while he did his civic duty “To Protect and To Serve” by handing out a $100 citation.

When a government or a business puts policy above people, it almost ALWAYS is flat out wrong.

I read this as well. My guess is, this officer is getting a “pink” citation right now…….

The cop should get a suspension or something. The fine should be thrown out because two other cops let the couple go. Greg Ellison
