<a href="#comment-2579" rel="nofollow">#</a>Ari Herzog→
Creation is amazing, isn't it? We saw a ton of elk in Mammoth Hot Springs, just grazing in the yard and the median! Some were up on front porches eating shrubs and flowers.

We were able to see several of those big boys in the woods though, but each had a huge audience of people snapping pictures like crazy. I would love to go on a quiet trip and just spend some time in the forest for a few days, taking pictures of wildlife and just the majesty of the area.

Ron, it's so funny that you are writing about Yellowstone as I just talked to a friend up for the day about an experience I had in Yellowstone in 2001:

At the halfway point of a solo roadtrip, I found a turnoff from one of the figure-8 park roads and walked a bit down a trail to enjoy the solitude of a little peace of heaven away from the bustle of cars.

Minding my business, I sat on a fallen log and wrote in my travel journal.

Then, I looked up suddenly and about 200 yards in front of me were three elk, also minding their business. We acknowledged each other, and we all went back to our solitude.

I'm glad you had a fun trip!

Financial freedom means working for myself. At least, that's what I tell myself right now! I think financial freedom has a different meaning for everyone, and because it is personal, is always subject to change based on personal situation, goals, etc. Thanks for the mention!
