That price placebo article is interesting. We actually had that experience just yesterday. The screen on my main laptop went out, and I had to buy a new one because working on a netbook just isn’t gonna cut it. Well, I found an Acer with amazing reviews, but I had to convince my husband it was worth buying because it was SO inexpensive. Even though every reviewer said it was an incredibly good laptop for the price, he thought we should buy the more expensive model…just because. I finally won that argument — er, discussion — and my cheap laptop is on its way (now, let’s just hope I’m actually right…).
