Roundup, Link Love, Site Update and Stats July 08 Edition

by Ron Haynes

July was a great month! But then, they’re all great. I started the month on vacation in Montana and Wyoming and then went to Mt Rushmore with my family. Check out some of the pictures! We ran into a bump in the road when my youngest daughter was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and the outpouring of prayer and support from readers and friends in the blogosphere was very encouraging and a little humbling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I mean it.

In July, The Wisdom Journal hit a new feed count high of 1,023 readers! Thank you to everyone who subscribed and commented. I thrive on your comments so keep ‘em coming. If you would like to subscribe, you can easily do so by RSS Feed or by email. It’s free!

The Wisdom Journal gave away two books in July, Getting Things Done by David Allen and The Path of Least Resistance by Robert Fritz. My next giveaway is in about two weeks and I’ll be sending one reader a copy of WordPress for Dummies. If you would like 5 entries for the drawing for this book, just email the FREE BOOK CODE at the bottom of my RSS Feed to thewisdomjournal [at] gmail [dot] com. It’s there, it’s just at the bottom…keep scrolling!

The Wisdom Journal had 17,227 unique visitors and just under 30,000 page views for the month. My top referrers (other than search engines and social media) were:

Four Pillars

I drove through Wyoming about 10 years ago (was it that long ago?). Beautiful state.

Glad “Mom and Dad” could send some folks your way, and a few others, too!

Wow, 1,000! I hope you’re celebrating, since that’s a big milestone. I’m sure it’s just the beginning!

And thanks for the mention–everyone got a big kick out of your desert island answer. We all know who to call now if we ever get stranded!
