How can I inspect flex duct that is located between my ceiling and the floor above my condo without cutting out a section of drywall? Are there small cameras available to inspect these areas by drilling a small hole? One of my heat vents is not blowing as much air as before. I suspect that the flex duct may have come loose above my ceiling. Any ideas on how to check this problem out?

You are correct with all of the statements above. I have been in the construction industry all my life A The name of the game is to get it up and get it up quickly. I had often wondered how well the fittings held the air in the duct work. I was able to answer that question for myself recently in my company The Emc2 Group. We will do energy evaluations of business and give them recommendations on how to save energy. Primarily we have focused on larger buildings and business because the need was so great. Recently however we have stated to offer this on a residential scale as well. Part of our offering is to walk through the home with an infrared camera to look for places were heat or ac is being lost. No surprise the heat loss around the joints is very evident. We have many more things that you may find useful at our site and our blog. I’d like to invite you over have a look and let me know what you think

Very good point and thank you for sharing this. I have had trouble with ducts that were behind drywall. Even though these are more trouble, if you are going to stay in the house for any length of time, it is still worth the effort.
