My wife and I have been debt-free (except our home) for about 1 1/2 years now, and life is good. I firmly believe that getting your finances under control, getting out of debt and STAYING out is a key factor is building an awesome marriage. It's the reason that finances is one of the main topics I cover over at my blog even though it is generally themed around marriage. I really enjoyed this post!
