I think most verbal fallacies fall into one of two categories, ad hominem attacks or redirections. I covered ad hominems in my very first article of the series http://www.thewisdomjournal.com/Blog/the-verbal-cheap-shot-artist-part-1-ad-hominem-attacks/

To make debating even more fun the False Dilemma is likely to be found right alongside it's good friend the Ad Hominem attack.

i.e.

Jack: We need to raise taxes across the board.
Jill: Why would we do THAT?
Jack: We have to either raise taxes or this deficit will destroy our economy
Jill: Why don’t we cut spending or identify what our true priorities may be?
Jack: Oh, you stupid fiscal conservatives are all the same - Go watch some more Glen Beck!
Jill: Ummm, what? Let me know when you will address my reasoning and not attack me personally.
