Overdue? definitely! but I just hope they now go after the "fake credit card" (really a very expensive debit card often attached to an overpriced catalog) people. This should stop the credit companies from targeting the people who can't really handle credit like young students, but credit companies need people to spend stupidly to survive, so they will still find a way to make that happen.

If only they would stop the credit card debit checks they insist on sending me and attaching to my bills! I really hate those. I think they are ASKING for someone to steal my mail and use them. Me? I tear them up FINELY and toss them.

While i'm very happy about some of the legislation, espcially the opt-out rule (which seems to already exist?) im very disappointed that it would be over a year after the bill was passed before the changes could be made.

I'm also very disappointed that the payment due date is going to be fixed. I have arranged my due dates to help me budget better because I get paid every too weeks. In any case, this helps everyone. Nobody wants to rush their credit card payment in the mail a week before the paycheck comes and pray that the paycheck comes before the check gets cashed and that its not late!
