I Corinthians 6:12 I will not be Mastered by debt...

Say that too yourself each day of the week and mean it, debt can not continue on it's own, the only way that debt can continue is when you don't care, or if you have an attitude towards your finances that needs to be adjusted... A home is a good debt to have also a car is a good debt to have, but when you get too much home or too much car...you will be one day struggling to make ends meet, if you don't change your attitude and get yourself straightened up...

People do want to help you, but you must first be ready and ask for help, if not the person or persons who want to try to help to get out of debt, will tell you that they can explain how they can help you, when you are not ready to listen and apply what you are taught...Each month, you should be able to show that you are heading towards being "Debt Free"...but if you show that you are more debt as the next few month go by, then you are sending out a very clear message that is saying, I am going to except the fact that I am going to always be in debt, so why try...
Once you except that concept...you are really in alot of trouble with yourself and also you can get into more trouble with those that you owe, ie; creditors....If you face a reduction in force on your job....(R.I.F.) or your health causes you to get burdened down with a large amount of medical bills, or an accident befalls you and you are out of work for a length of time, if you don't have some money saved up, say 3 to 6 months of your total monthly expenses, then you are really going to face a " Reality Check", and you can not say that they don't happen, just one crash of sorts can bring you down financially.....So if you don't save up for that happening, then you don't need to ask anyone for help...Your paycheck, your decision on how you are going to spend it...I have been there and done that!!! When I got a bill auto repair bill, I had to get alot less each day and learn to live on $5.00 a day for 6 months, just to get a 6 month level savings account, and now I can breathe alot better, knowing that I got my "Reality Check" woke up and got my act....my financial act up todate...now I am feeling much better and sleeping better too..

When you awake from your financial stupor, and you find anyone that was trying to help, "Gone", it is more likely that that person or those persons all saw pretty much the same picture of ...Your financial attitude/behavior which didn't change, even after you were unchanged, you are a "Financial Addict" addiicted to money, ie; your pay check and/or your "Credit Cards".

You are the one responsible for your financial well being, no one else is responsible for that!!!

Proverb 22:7 "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender's slave".

Are you going to live your life a slave or will you take charge of your finaces and live a better life?

God doesn't want you to work and exist just to pay on on going bills, ie; credit cards, he wants you to live a better life than that and enjoy this life that he gave to each of us...

Money should not tell you what, when, where, how nor why you should do anythings that is going to put you and your family in to danger...you worked and earned the pay check, so make your pay check work for you and not the other way around...Money can rule your life, you are the one who decides how you are going to live your life...When you are ready to get out of your Debt Rut, say that you want to change your attitude/behavior and learn a whole new set of spending habits and saving habits that will work for you...budgeting will show you what is happening with and to your pay check, that is if you are willing to write down where your money is going too...get receipts, so that you can remember where, when, how and why you spend some of your pay check in that or those areas...Be honest, and you will learn how to stop the lost of your pay, due to reckless uncontrolled spending habits...

Question - I've always understood that background security checks, which more often than not will pull a CBR and will show up as inquiries, are not factored in your credit score. Is this the case or can they, in fact, affect your overall score?

One's credit score isn't usually a topic that attracts much interest until it's too late. Thanks for pulling this together!
