Thanks Coryan,
We're on the same page. I read a book several years ago called "The Government Racket. Washington Waste from A to Z." It was an eye-opener. In it the author lays out how two thirds of the Federal budget is wasted on worthless ideas, departments, pork, and pet projects. The biggest eye opener though, was that there really isn't anyone in charge of anything. Senators and Congressmen spend 95% of their time raising money. The President spends about that much as well.

When will they learn that the markets are best left alone, that cream rises to the top, and that we don't need them meddling in business, markets, our lives, or our schools?

Great post! I always find this interesting. I'm also not surprised to find little difference between the parties. The economy and the market is much more complex than our politicians seem to understand. It bothers me when they try to tweak the economy with stupid tax rebates and other "incentives". Just let capitalism and people do their thing. That is what built up our country and we need to quit toying with it. IMHO

Thanks, Bob

I agree. But please don't sit out the election. Thousands have died just to secure your right to make a choice. Please use that right in THEIR honor...no matter who you vote for.

I'm glad someone finally said this. The amount of blustering over the election and who is best for the market on CNBC is wearing me out.

This is the first election in over 25 years that I may sit out. I don't see a shred of a difference in any of them.
