I agree! Having disability is simply insuring your income stream isn’t interrupted.

Re: disability insurance. The most important insurance you can own is disability insurance. It’s far more important than anything else and everyone should own it. Unfortunately, it’s not for people in high-risk professions at all. Those people are either unacceptable risks for the insurance companies or the cost is perceived to be prohibitively high.
