Ever notice how just the simplest of phrases spoken in sincerity can make a big difference in someone’s day/week/LIFE? I’m not writing a long article today … just one to give you some ideas of encouraging phrases to pass along to someone:

• I’m proud of you
• I love you
• Please forgive me
• You make me smile
• You can do it
• I believe in you
• I appreciate you
• You’re doing a great job
• You’re the best thing that ever happened to me
• It’s okay
• I forgive you (if you’ve been asked for forgiveness)
• You are valuable to this family
• You’ve made a real, positive difference in my life
• You can make it through this
• You’re an amazing friend
• Way to go!
• I have faith in you
• I trust you
• I’m sorry
• You’re a blessing to me
• You have a bright future
• You’re a thoughtful person
• Can I help you with that?
• I’m here to listen ^[2] to you
• You are so capable
• You’re such a hard worker
• Keep trying. You’ll succeed.

Make sure these are spoken in sincerity without the slightest hint of sarcasm and you’ll be the one that brightens another’s day.
